<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device that prevents the enlargement of a circuit configuration and reduces a seam, in multi-number path recording. <P>SOLUTION: When performing recording by scanning a recording head a plurality of times at each band, recording data of respective ink colors of the corresponding bands is divided and stored at each scan, and the recording data of a one-scan amount is acquired. An ink amount immersed into the vicinity of a connecting part of the bands is acquired at each ink color on the basis of the recording data of the one-scan amount. An ink amount obtained by multiplying the acquired ink amount by the number of times of scans is calculated at each ink color, and a reduction rate for reducing the ink amount immersed into the vicinity of the seam is determined at each ink color on the basis of the calculated ink amount. A data amount based on the reduction rate is thinned from the recording data of the one-scan amount, and the thinned recording data is stored. The processing is repeated for the stored recording data which is divided at each scan, and as a result, the thinned recording data is stored by a band amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
