<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve miniaturization of a terminal fitting while ensuring a bending space for an elastic contact piece. <P>SOLUTION: A terminal fitting 10 comprises: a box-shaped body part 11 capable of receiving a tab 61 of a mating terminal fitting 60; and a bendable elastic contact piece 12 which is disposed in the body part 11 and can be connected to the tab 61 inserted into the body part 11. The elastic contact piece 12 has a fulcrum portion 40 for a bending action in the body part 11. The body part 11 has a base part 18 facing the elastic contact pieces 12 in a bending direction thereof. The base part 18 has a recess 46 recessed in a range of a plate thickness thereof, and the fulcrum portion 40 is in a contact with a bottom surface of the recess 46. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
