<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nano-mist and negative ion generator that prevents water from entering from a gap between a spindle of a drive motor and a supporting part. <P>SOLUTION: The drive motor 3 is arranged under a treatment chamber 2. The spindle 4 penetrates a supporting part 5 erected from the bottom of the treatment chamber 2 exceeding the level of stored water. A packing 15 in contact with the supporting part 5 and a metallic shaft spacer 16 in contact with the spindle 4 are formed between the supporting part 5 and the spindle 4. A triangular notch 17 gradually tapered downward is formed on the whole periphery of the spindle 4 in contact with the shaft spacer 16. A lubricating oil 19 is stored in a reservoir chamber 18 formed by the notch 17 and the shaft spacer 16. The lubricating oil 19 always flows between the spindle 4 and the shaft spacer 16 to prevent the drive motor 3 from being short-circuited or damaged due to leakage of water drops for a long time and to use the drive motor 3 without anxiety. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
