<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus which achieves a prompt response to a request for displaying list information, performed for image files. <P>SOLUTION: A multifunction peripheral (MFP) 1 equipped with an image processing apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a storage section 21 for storing a plurality of image files and a plurality of management files corresponding to the plurality of the image files respectively; a generation section 23 for generating, for each of the plurality of the management files stored in the storage section 21, display data having a smaller data size than the management file using a part of management data included in the management file; RAM 22 for storing the plurality of the display data generated and which is accessible from the storage section 21 with high speed; and a response control section 24 for performing, when a list display request for the image files is inputted, response processing in response to the list display request by reading out the plurality of the display data from the RAM 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
