<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core for a reactor which can reduce a leakage flux. <P>SOLUTION: The core 1 is an annular core formed by integrating a pair of coil arrangement sections 11 covered with a coil C configuring a reactor, and a pair of exposed parts 12 not covered with the coil C, with no gap therebetween. A closed magnetic circuit passing through the core 1 is formed by excitation of the coil C. The exposed parts 12 are configured to have a relative permeability higher than that of the coil arrangement sections 11. Since the exposed parts 12 have a high relative permeability, a leakage flux generated in the space between one coil arrangement section 11a and the other coil arrangement section 11b can be reduced. Furthermore, since the core 1 has a gapless structure, problems of noise, or the like, incident to existence of a gap is less likely to occur. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
