<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device and a program capable of giving a notification further surely in an extremely emergency situation. <P>SOLUTION: In a terminal device such as a mobile phone 1 having a function for notifying emergency situation by means of an audible tone or radio transmission of emergency signals, it is controlled whether the predetermined notification details according to the use situation of the terminal device is displayed on a display part 17 while an emergency notification function is working. For example, the above use situations include: when an emergency notification function operation is finished by an operation procedure other than the predetermined procedure after the emergency notification function is activated; when the terminal device is impacted; when the residue quantity of a battery for operation becomes low; when the battery for operation is removed; and the terminal device is submerged.
