The method involves connecting a metering valve (2) between a spray pipe (4) and a compressed air feed circuit (5). The compressed air for aerosol formation is supplied at different times for metering reducing agent in a chamber (3) by the metering valve. The reducing agent is measured by electrical actuation or by pressure control process. The pressure control measuring process is carried out by using the air feed circuit. An independent claim is included for dosing system for metering reducing agent in exhaust pipe of internal combustion engine.
