<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship hull structure comprising wave resistance increase minimizing steps, which minimize increases in wave resistance without increasing resistance in calm water. <P>SOLUTION: The ship hull structure includes: a flare 21 disposed upon the bow 11 of a hull 10; and the wave resistance increase minimizing steps 30 that are prepared in the bow 11 to which the flare angle of the flare 21 increases toward backward of the hull 10, and that repel waves.
