<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which is capable of preventing erroneous input in flick input and displays such a predictive conversion candidate as to improve work efficiency in character input. <P>SOLUTION: A display device 101 includes a display section 103 which displays a key to which a character is assigned, a touch sensor 104 which detects a position of contact and outputs a detection result when any contact object is brought into contact, and a control section 106 in which, when it is determined on the basis of output from the touch sensor 104 that the contact object is brought into contact and the position of contact of the contact object is displaced with the contact position as a starting point, a predictive conversion candidate related to a character assigned to a key corresponding to the position of the starting point of contact is displayed on the display section 103 and when the touch sensor 104 detects a position corresponding to the predictive conversion candidate in the state where the predictive conversion candidate is displayed, the predictive conversion candidate corresponding to the detected position is selected. In the display device, the control section 106 controls the display section 103 in such a manner as to display a predictive conversion candidate in a region excluding a direction of displacement with the starting point as a criterion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
