<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-carry massage roller with a beauty effect, which does not generate vibrations when using a power source from a receptacle or a battery, which uses only a permanent magnet without use of an electric current from power-generating equipment, which can be inexpensively manufactured by virtue of a simple structure, and which not only achieves a healing effect by making a larger alternating field (magnetic field) act on a living boy but also brings about an upward massage effect, a lift-up effect or a tapping effect, like a manual massage effect. <P>SOLUTION: The massage roller includes a support rod, a holding portion at one end on the same axis line as the support rod, and a cylindrical head rotating on the axis line at the other end. The permanent magnets are provided on the cylindrical head and an outer peripheral surface of a shaft, respectively. In the rotation of the cylindrical head, when the permanent magnet on the side of the cylindrical head and the permanent magnet on the outer peripheral surface of the shaft are aligned in a straight line (at an angle of 180°), a feeling of click and a feeling of tapping, which are brought about by homopolar repellence generated because the permanent magnets are equal in polarity to each other, are enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
