ROLLED NEWSPRINT PAPER FOR OFFSET ROTARY PRINTING MACHINE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolled newsprint paper for offset rotary printing having less wrinkle in the offset rotary printing and excellent in printing workability.

SOLUTION: A deceleration (g) is measured with an acceleration sensor until a hammer continuously knocking the surface of a rolled paper is stopped by hitting the surface of the rolled paper. A variation of the deceleration in a width direction of the rolled paper is measured as a variation of the wound hardness by shifting the hammer in the width direction of the rolled paper with the hammer continuously knocking the surface of the rolled paper. The rolled newsprint paper for the offset rotary printing, which is wound up in a rolled shape by use of a winder, has a standard deviation (σ) of a wound hardness profile in the width direction of 8 g or less and a value obtained by subtracting the minimum value from the maximum value of the wound hardness of 40 g or less on its surface.
