<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning apparatus that optimizes a light distribution angle of a human body detection sensor to reliably locate a position of a thermal source. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioning apparatus includes the human body detection sensor driving in a horizontal direction. The human body detection sensor is constituted of a long-range human body detection sensor and a close-range human body detection sensor, wherein a light distribution width of the close-range human body detection sensor is controlled smaller than that of the long-range human body detection sensor, so that a position of a thermal source can be accurately located by a small number of human body detection sensors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
