<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of reducing an ink amount which is wastefully consumed in order to discharge air bubbles in an ink support passage. <P>SOLUTION: An air bubble storage 35 in which the air bubbles in the ink supply passage 21 are stored is formed at the ink supply passage 21 through which an ink passes toward a nozzle for discharging an ink droplet. The printer has an air bubble detector 37 which detects that an amount of the air bubbles in the air bubble storage 35 reaches a prescribed amount, and an air bubble discharger which discharges the air bubbles in the air bubble storage 35 on the basis of a detection result by the air bubble detector 37. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
