Disclosed is a digital device control system using a smart phone, and the system comprises: a smart phone that has an application for a remote control function; a digital device that adjusts the on/off of the power, channels, and volume or the like according to a signal which is received from said smart phone; and an IR repeater that functions as a central control unit, which is in communication with said smart phone through a Bluetooth or a Wi-Fi connection and is connected with said digital device through a plurality of infrared communications, thereby performing a remote control function. Thus, the invention: is capable of controlling the digital device by using the smart phone instead of a remote control; enables a plurality of LEDs capable of performing an infrared communication to be included in said IR repeater in such a manner that an infrared signal can be transmitted and received in a wide area whereby the remote control function is performed even though a digital device which is to be controlled is positioned at a far distance or exists in an interior blind spot; and controls several digital devices at a time. |
