The module (1) has a base housing and an attachment region provided for a bus line, where a bus line terminal (20) is arranged at the module, formed as a threaded terminal and connected with the housing by ball-and-socket joints (30-32). One of the ball-and-socket joints is formed as a ball-and-socket joint shell in which the other ball-and-socket joints are cased. Two of the ball-and-socket joints are lockable by a clamping device (36). Field device terminals (10) are arranged on the housing for attachment of actuators and/or sensors. The housing is made of metal or plastic.
