The method involves producing connection between a computing unit (HU) i.e. central processor, and an internet-server (IS). The computing unit is accessed on a database (DB) that is available on the server. Possible contact partners (KP) for a person i.e. vehicle user, in the database are determined by the computing unit based on properties defined by the person. The contact partners are combined to a group in the database. A determined system setting (SE) is assigned to each possible contact partners by the computing unit. The database is a social network or an internet community. An independent claim is also included for a software program or a software program product comprising instructions to perform a method for configuration of system settings of a computing unit.
