PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind turbine rotor blade capable of ensuring sufficient strength at a joint without significantly increasing the weight even when enlarging the blade, because beams, each of which is the principal strengthening member of a split blade, is jointed by a metal jointing member.
SOLUTION: The wind turbine rotor blade 6 is equipped with a shell 11 that forms a long hollow and the beam 12 that extends in the longitudinal direction and strengthens the shell 11 from the inside thereof. The beam 12 is divided into at least two parts in the longitudinal direction, and the ends of the neighboring beams are jointed by metal jointing members 63, 64 having a first flange facing one end, a second flange facing the other end, and a connecting part for connecting the first flange and the second flange. The shell 11 is divided into joint shells 34, 35 disposed at the positions corresponding to the metal jointing members 63, 64 and body shells 31, 32, 33 disposed at the positions corresponding to the beam 12.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
