APPARATUS FOR SUPPLYING REEL TO WINDING ROLLER FOR PRODUCTION OF WOUND ROLL, FOR EXAMPLE, IN SLIVER WINDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To introduce an empty reel into a cleft-shaped space rapidly and reliably by means having a simple structure.

SOLUTION: In an apparatus for supplying reels to winding rollers for production of a wound roll of fiber material in a sliver winder, empty reels are held in reserve (in a store device) and, after changing of the wound roll, a reel is introduced into a cleft-shaped space formed by the envelope surfaces of the winding rollers. An apparatus is provided for introducing the reel from the store device. In order to introduce the empty reel into the cleft-shaped space rapidly and reliably by means having a simple structure, the store device is arranged to the side of the winding rollers, and the reel is in each case arranged to be introduced into the cleft-shaped space from the side at the level of the cleft-shaped space.
