<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise more the reducing effect of a friction coefficient in a hard carbon film. <P>SOLUTION: The sliding member at least includes: a first member 101 and a second member 102 which counter at mutual sliding surfaces; and a hard carbon film 103 which is formed on at least one sliding surface of the first member 101 and the second member 102, and reduces a sliding friction between the first member 101 and the second member 102. In addition, the hard carbon film 103 is added with silicon (Si). Since Si is added to the hard carbon film 103, the higher reducing effect of the friction coefficient can be obtained comparing with that effect when Si is not added. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
