The guide element (1) has uncoupling locations (AS), at which an uncoupling notch (AK) is formed. An uncoupling notch surface (AKF) of the uncoupling notch is mirrored. A mirroring is formed by a metallic coating and/or vaporization. A light exit surface (LF) is lenticularly formed at the uncoupling locations. The uncoupling locations are arranged behind each other in a longitudinal direction of the guide element. The uncoupling locations together form an illuminating unit. One of front surfaces of the guide element serves as a light coupling location.
