FIELD: metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: metal strip is previously coated with zinc or a zinc melt, then a layer of an oxidised metal or an oxidised metal alloy is deposited in vacuum on the specified strip, afterwards the coated metal strip is coiled into a roll. The coiled roll is exposed to static diffusion thermal treatment to produce a strip having a coating that contains an alloy layer in the upper section, formed by means of diffusion of an oxidised metal or an oxidised metal alloy in the entire layer or a part of a zinc or a zinc melt layer. ^ EFFECT: invention provides for production of multi-layer coatings having favourable characteristics of surface in items with a coating, with low consumption of energy and inert gas or without usage of inert gas, on metal substrates of different types. ^ 18 cl, 2 dwg, 2 ex |
