<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which supports medicine taking. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a terminal device constituting a medicine taking support system including a medicine taking bag and the terminal device; and the medicine taking bag includes a medicine identification information storage part capable of storing medicine identification information for identifying medicines and a medicine information transmission part configured to transmit medicine information including the medicine identification information to the terminal device. The terminal device includes a medicine taking rule storage part capable of storing one or more medicine taking rules as rules associated with taking of medicines, a medicine information reception part which receives one or more pieces of medicine information from the medicine taking bag; a determination part which applies the one or more medicine taking rules to one or more pieces of medicine information that the medicine information reception part receives to determine whether the medicines are properly taken; and an output part which outputs improper medicine taking information as information representing that the medicines are improperly taken when the determination part determines that the medicines are improperly taken.
