<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lever type connector capable of enhancing connection reliability at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: Lock projections 56 projecting to the side surfaces of a connector housing 31 are formed on support plate parts 52 constituting a lever 51, and lock grooves 46 that are engaged with the lock projections 56 of the lever 51 located at a connection locking position are formed on the both side surfaces of the connector housing 31. The lock groove 46 includes a taper surface 47 that is gradually inclined in the projection direction of the lock projection 56 toward the locking direction of the lever 51. The lock projections 56 slide along the taper surfaces 47 to be engaged with the taper surfaces 47, so that a turning force in the locking direction is applied to the lever 51, and an operation part made up of a coupling part of the lever 51 comes into contact with a lever contact part of the connector housing 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
