<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle horn capable of preventing a problem of intrusion of foreign matters into a horn base, effectively sounding an alarm whistle ahead of a vehicle, and giving an alarm sound having a sufficient acoustic pressure to pedestrians and drivers ahead of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle horn includes a horn base 2 equipped with a sounding part 1, and a resonance part 3 for increasing an acoustic pressure of an alarm sound. The resonance part 3 is configured to be provided with an opening 5 projecting from the horn body at a leading end of a sound guide part 4 formed in a spiral shape. The opening 5 is configured to be directed in a traveling direction of a vehicle. A bottom part 6 of the opening 5 is formed in a downwardly inclined state toward an opening edge 7 of the opening 5, and foreign matter intrusion prevention plates 8 elongated in a width direction of the opening 5 are provided on an inner surface of the bottom 6 along the inclining direction which is a depth direction of the opening 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
