<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing boring apparatus capable of easily lifting and storing a casing intruded into a ground. <P>SOLUTION: The casing boring apparatus comprises: the cylindrical casing 1 having a sharp bottom end; load applying means for applying a load to the casing 1 downward; unloading means for removing a ground G in the vicinity of the bottom end of the casing 1; and lifting and storing means for extracting the casing 1 intruded into the ground G upward. The outer diameter side of the casing 1 is covered with an outer cylindrical body 12 from which the casing 1 can be extracted and is deformable toward an inner diameter side after the casing 1 is extracted, through a lubricant 18.
