PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophoretic display which divides a space on a substrate into plural cells by partition walls and improves the hermeticity of the plural cells filled with electrophoretic dispersion liquids.

SOLUTION: An electrophoretic display includes; a substrate (11); partition walls (12) for dividing a space on the substrate into plural cells (13); electrophoretic dispersion liquids (20) filling each of the plural cells on the substrate; a sealing film (30) provided facing the substrate via the partition walls and sealing the plural cells; and phase separation portions (40) partially formed between the top face of the partition wall and the sealing film and made of the phase-separated electrophoretic dispersion liquids.
