<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface plasmon resonance fluorescence analyzer and surface plasmon resonance fluorescence analysis method capable of restricting dispersion in degrees of birefringence for each prism from giving influence to a measurement result, and also attaining reduction in analysis time and device size. <P>SOLUTION: A surface plasmon resonance fluorescence analyzer and a surface plasmon resonance fluorescence analysis method are provided to perform processing: preparing a prism 51 with a metal film 55 formed thereon; pouring a sample solution onto the metal film 55; measuring light to be generated in the metal film 55 and its adjacent area, while changing the polarization direction of excitation light α with respect to the metal film 55 in a state where the excitation light α is made incident to the prism 51 so as to be reflected against the metal film 55; acquiring a deviation angle θ<SB POS="POST">i</SB>which is made by a P-wave direction with respect to the metal film 55 and the optical main axis of the prism, based on the measured maximum and minimum light amounts; measuring fluorescent light included in the light to be generated in the metal film 55 and its adjacent area; correcting the light amount on the basis of the deviation angle θ<SB POS="POST">i</SB>; and then, detecting a subject. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
