Systems and methods for automatically interpreting digital images and calculating a geometric feature based on the interpreted digital images are described herein. In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure, a plurality of measurement elements within a digital medical image are automatically identified (306). The measurement elements are used to compute a geometric feature (308), and provided to a user for review (310).
