The purpose of the present invention is to provide a novel protein that shows specific localization in fat droplets. The present invention provides: (A) a protein in which the N-terminus of a polypeptide (b), which comprises the amino acid sequence ranging from the 218th position to the 261st position in the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 2 and an amino acid sequence represented by X2 m (wherein 0 = m = 26, and when m is 2 or more, the plurality of X2s may be the same as or different from each other) and linked to the N-terminus of the amino acid sequence ranging from the 218th position to the 261st position in the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 2, is linked to the C-terminus of a polypeptide (a), which comprises the amino acid sequence ranging from the 50th position to the 73rd position in the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 2 and an amino acid sequence represented by X1 n (wherein 0 = n = 49, and when n is 2 or more, the plurality of X1s may be the same as or different from each other) and linked to the N-terminus of the amino acid sequence ranging from the 50th position to the 73rd position in the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 2, said protein showing specific localization in fat droplets; (B) a protein defined in (A), which comprises an amino acid sequence that is produced by deleting, substituting and/or adding one or several amino acid residues in the above-mentioned amino acid sequence ranging from the 50th position to the 73rd position and/or in the above-mentioned amino acid sequence ranging from the 218th position to the 261st position, said protein showing specific localization in fat droplets; or (C) a protein which comprises an amino acid sequence that has at least 60% homology to the amino acid sequence of the protein defined in (A), said protein showing specific localization in fat droplets. |
