<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analysis method for quickly predicting an Li/Me ratio providing a maximum capacitance value by analyzing a positive electrode active material itself. <P>SOLUTION: Characteristics (specifically capacitance) of a lithium secondary battery is determined by evaluating magnetic susceptibility of a paramagnetic material part in a lithium composite nickel oxide with cobalt dissolved therein by means of a VSM (vibrating sample magnetometer), the lithium composite nickel oxide in the lithium secondary battery being represented by general formula: Li<SB POS="POST">x</SB>Ni<SB POS="POST">(1-y-z)</SB>Co<SB POS="POST">y</SB>M<SB POS="POST">z</SB>O<SB POS="POST">2</SB>(here, M represents at least one element selected from among Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, Ti, Al, Cr, Mn and Fe, and 0.95≤x≤1.2, 0≤y<0.5 and 0≤z<0.5 are satisfied). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
