摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle control device that prevents a gear shifting shock and improves brake response in an inertia phase. <P>SOLUTION: The electric vehicle control device includes: an automatic transmission arranged at a downstream position of a drive source having a motor and achieving a plurality of gear positions by changing engagement of frictional tightening elements; and a gear shifting controller changing the engagement of the automatic transmission and performing regenerative cooperative brake control using both a regenerative brake applying braking to a vehicle using the motor as an electric power generator and a mechanical brake applying braking to the vehicle using mechanical braking force.
