<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite authentication apparatus which is capable of improving convenience by relieving a registrant in which a personal rejection occurs, while ensuring security in the case where the personal rejection occurs. <P>SOLUTION: A composite authentication apparatus includes a RFID tag which has specific ID information for identifying a person carrying a tag, RFID authentication means which performs RFID authentication by reading ID information of the RFID tag within a tag detection range, biological authentication means which performs biological authentication by reading human biological information, determination means which determines a success/failure of the final authentication on the basis at least of a RFID authentication result of the RFID authentication means and a biological authentication result of the biological authentication means. In the case where a predetermined temporary registration implementation condition containing at least the biological authentication result of the biological authentication means in a requirement is established, the determination means temporarily registers biological information and after the temporary registration, the biological authentication means performs biological authentication using the temporarily registered biological information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
