<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power system capable of reducing a construction cost and an operation cost while reducing an adjustment control load in a frequency adjustment command unit and ensuring a power adjustment capacity for maintaining a frequency of a power system at a predetermined frequency. <P>SOLUTION: A power system E includes a power system 1 connected to power generation equipment R and power consumption equipment T, and a frequency adjustment command unit 2 that freely outputs a frequency adjustment command L for commanding increase/decrease of power generated to the power generation equipment R to maintain the frequency of the power system 1. An equipment group control command unit 3, which freely controls total power of an equipment group S consisting of a plurality of pieces of equipment F including at least either of the power generation equipment R or the power consumption equipment T, is configured to generate and freely output a total power increase/decrease command M for commanding increase/decrease of the total power of the equipment group S according to the frequency adjustment command L.
