<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of allowing a user to grasp a printing last page which is made to be a last page in already printed pages of a print job by a cancel command when printing is canceled. <P>SOLUTION: The printer 100 detects a cancel command of a print job during printing. When the printer detects the cancel command, information (page number, an image of the page or the like) capable of allowing a user to recognize a page which is made to be a last page in printed pages of a print job of the canceling target is outputted.
