<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact type coordinate input device capable of detecting plural points with a simple configuration even using capacitance. <P>SOLUTION: A contact type coordinate input device is provided with plural areas each having four rectangular electrodes placed on a substrate 1, and dielectrics disposed between the four electrodes 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 4A, 4B, 4C and 4D in each of the areas 3 and 5. The contact type coordinate input device includes: position acquisition mechanisms 7 and 8 for acquiring information on a position where contact operation is performed through arithmetic processing, for each of the areas 3 and 5, on change in capacitance of the electrodes 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 4A, 4B, 4C and 4D by the contact operation to the dielectrics in the plural areas 3 and 5; and a complex processing mechanism 9 for performing arithmetic processing on the basis of the position information of at least two of the plural areas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
