<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily fixing a flange with high coaxiality to a photoreceptor using a thin substrate, while preventing deformation of the photoreceptor and damages on the flange. <P>SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor includes at least a photosensitive layer formed on a conductive cylindrical substrate, in which a flange is mounted at an end of the substrate, and the substrate has a thickness of 0.1 mm or more and 1.0 mm or less. The photoreceptor satisfies an expression (1): Tf×Hf>Td×Hd, where Tf×Hf≥90. In the expression, Tf represents a tensile strength (N/mm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>) of a flange material; Td represents a tensile strength (N/mm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>) of the substrate; Hf represents a thickness (mm) of the flange; and Hd represents a thickness (mm) of the substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
