<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection part structure of a roof side rail and a center pillar of an automobile, which can simultaneously hold good framework rigidity by carrying out connecting coupling of the longitudinal wall in the center pillar to the roof side rail, while securing good moldability and holding the predetermined framework strength, even if high tension steel plate is used for the center pillar. <P>SOLUTION: While forming a connecting wall part 4 for reinforcement which extends to down direction of an automobile in an overlapped part 11C with a front part roof side rail outer 11A in a rear part roof side rail outer 11B, a plate state connecting piece part 31A is formed so that an upper end of a center pillar outer 31 faces the connecting wall part 4 for reinforcement at an upper end part of the center pillar outer 31, the plate state connecting piece part 31A is joined in the condition of being held between the front part roof side rail outer 11A and the rear part roof side rail outer 11B, and further joining connecting of the connecting wall part 4 for reinforcement and the center pillar outer 31 are carried out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
