<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory device disposed on one side of a vehicle seat to store a reclining angle of a seat back before half-stop operation. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle seat has a seat back 2 which can be operated in a half-stop operation and a maximum-reclining operation. The seat back 2 has both sides connected to a support base 4 via reclining devices 20. An outer side thereof is connected to the support base 4 via a memory device 10. The memory device 10 has an intermediate ring 12 and a base member 11 which can be rotated relative to each other. The two members 12 and 11 are normally stopped at a specific rotation position, while one of them can be rotated together with the seat back 2 relative to the other one by the half-stop operation. The maximum-reclining operation of the seat back 2 is carried out when the stop of the reclining devices 20 on both sides are released, while the half-stop operation is carried out when the stop of the reclining devices 20 on the side opposite to the memory device 10 is released. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
