<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate transportation of a long object by reducing a vertical size of each transport carriage. <P>SOLUTION: A combination vehicle for transporting a long object has a front transport carriage 15 and a rear transport carriage 16 for supporting both ends in the longitudinal direction of a railroad vehicle. A turntable 30 is mounted rotatably on each carriage body 20 of the transport carriages 15, 16, and the ends in the longitudinal direction of the railroad vehicle are put on the turntable 30. Moreover, a connecting member 37 which is positioned below the vertical shaft of the turntable 30 and mutually connects a front wheel shaft 23 and a rear wheel shaft 24, is attached to each carriage body 20 rotatably around an axis of a horizontal shaft 42. A torsion prevention mechanism 36 including the connecting member 37 and the horizontal shaft 42 holds the turntable 30 of the front transport carriage 15 and the turntable 30 of the rear transport carriage 16 in parallel to each other on the same plane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
