<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air purifier for compressed air for extending the lifetime of a filter by effectively capturing dust particles, for air compressed by an oil-free type compressor. <P>SOLUTION: The air purifier 12 for compressed air is disposed in the middle between a compressed air pipe connecting the compressor supplying compressed air and pneumatic equipment using compressed air supplied from the compressor, and cleans the compressed air by filtering the air with a built-in air filter 20. The compressor is an oil-free type. A filter element 21 of the air filter 20 is formed of a three-layer filter material. An electret non-woven filter material 21a having surface charge is disposed on the upstream layer of a compressed air flow. A glass fiber filter paper material 21b having the highest dust capturing efficiency among the three layers is disposed in an intermediate layer in the compressed air flow.
