A seatback frame for a vehicle is provided with: a first side member and a second side member which are long and extend in the vertical direction of the seatback so as to support both sides of the seatback; and a belt guide section which is formed on the upper part of the first side member, guides the seatbelt having one end supported by a seatbelt holding member, and allows the tensile force of the seatbelt acting when the seatbelt is pulled to act on the belt guide section. The first side member is configured from a single steel plate comprising: a side member sidewall section disposed parallel to the direction in which the tensile force of the seatbelt acts and continuously formed in the longitudinal direction of the first side member; a side member front wall section formed forward of the side member sidewall section relative to the vehicle; and a side member rear wall section formed rearward of the side member sidewall section relative to the vehicle. The first side member has an open cross-sectional shape. |
