A method, comprising: providing a joint MAC depending on multiple RATs specific MAC; and performing resource scheduling among the multiple RATs by said joint MAC. The resource scheduling includes at least one of the following: downlink and uplink traffic resource allocation, downlink and uplink control information resource allocation, and resource collision management.
