PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cradle with its connection terminal portion protected by a simple-structured shutter, capable of stable slide connection without the risk of disconnecting or breaking the electrical connection terminal portion. SOLUTION: A shutter member 13 covering and protecting a connection terminal 15 of a cradle device 10, which is to be connected to a connection terminal of a cycle computer 20, is disposed forward in the attachment direction of a base portion 12, thereby allowing the shutter member 13 to be automatically opened to interconnect the connection terminals as the cycle computer 20 is attached for connection. At this time, the base portion 12 of the cradle device 10 guides the cycle computer 20 to be stably attached without random movement. In addition, a connection between the cradle device 10 and the cycle computer 20 can be freely designed, thereby improving the flexibility in designing a connection portion of the cycle computer 20, enabling a countermeasure against static electricity at low cost without adding an antistatic circuit or the like, and facilitating the examination for waterproof treatment and the like.
