PURPOSE: A music reproducing device for providing music information and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to check a reproducing music without an additional guide book. CONSTITUTION: A reproducing device reads music information from a music information storage. The reproducing device displays information about a title(33), a signer(34), an album(35), and words(36) of a song. The information additionally includes information about the genre of a music or a lyric writer and a composer. Therefore, a user easily checks various information related to the music.
