Oral and parenteral pharmaceutical compositions comprise trans-4-aminomethylcyclo-hexane-1-carboxylic acid or a salt thereof and a carrier. The compositions may be in the form of sterile injectable solutions or suspensions, tablets, granules, powders or capsules. They have anti plasmin activity, and are useful in preventing bleeding, or for allergic and inflammatory disorders.
