Optical guide for a motor vehicle

The waveguide (10A) has a luminous ray outlet face (22) defined by an angular portion (12). The waveguide is formed of transparent colored/non colored translucent polymer (25) with polyhedric/spherical shape nanoparticles (26) allowing diffusion and/or emission of light. The density of the nanoparticles is variable or homogeneous. The waveguide is realized by integrating the nanoparticles with monomers, prepolymers or polymer and by realizing polymerization. The waveguide is made of translucent polymer to define volumes with diffusion and/or emission characteristics of different light. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an optical waveguide.
