PURPOSE: A display panel driving method and a display device using the same are provided to uniformly distribute time points in which the polarity of common voltage is reversed within a single frame period, thereby reducing a brightness difference generated between the lower part and the upper part of a display panel. CONSTITUTION: A gate signal is successively applied in a plurality of gate lines of a display panel(S100). Data voltage is applied to data lines of the display panel(S200). Common voltage is applied to the display panel. The polarity of the common voltage is reversed by not being synchronized with a frame period(S300).
