<p>An arrangement for cooling a current converter 1, in particular a high power inverter, where the converter is located at a path of travel 8 of land vehicles or at a parking space of a land vehicle. The converter is adapted to support operation of at least one vehicle, in particular to transfer electric energy to a vehicle such as a rail vehicle, truck, bus, or automobile. The converter may be buried in the ground. The converter is combined with a cooling device 3 adapted to cool the converter during operation. The cooling device is designed to use a heat transport medium in order to transport heat away from the converter. The arrangement comprises at least one pole 13 and/or at least one supporting structure which is also located at the path of travel or at the parking space, the pole and/or the supporting structure extends upwards from ground, and comprises a conduct 14 extending from the cooling device to the pole for conducting the heat transport medium. Heat can thereby be transferred from the heat transport medium inside the pole to the outside 17a, 17b.</p> |
