Support frame for fitting into a support structure

The frame has a cover element serving as a carrier of a function unit e.g. lamp. A latch (58) is pivotably guided from a released position into a locked position. Each support (52) includes locking contours (541, 542) forming the closed position of the latch in cooperation with a stopper (583). Reverse pivoting of the latch is blocked in the released position. One of the contours is provided in a design of an elevation provided at the support for the locked position of the latch. The other contour is provided on an outer surface at the support for another locked position of the latch.
