PURPOSE: An organic dye/titanium dioxide photocatalyst is provided to effectively decompose contaminants even under the presence of visible ray, to be stable in the wide range of pH, and to maintain photocatalyst activity. CONSTITUTION: An organic dye has a structure in chemical formula 1. The manufacturing method of an organic dye / titanium dioxide photocatalyst comprise: a step of dissolving the organic dye in one solvent selected from the group consisting of tetrahydrofuran, acetonitrile, alcohol, and acetonitrile-tert-butyl; a step of absorbing the organic dye on the surface of titanium dioxide; and a step of collecting titanium dioxide, in which the organic dye is absorbed, by a filter.
